The main features of the steel plant located in Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur (Odisha), steel-manufacturing hub of India are:

• Two blast furnaces with design capacity of 1.20 MTPA of hot metal
• Sinter Plant with two machines having capacity 770 KTPA
• Two 110 TPH pig casting machines
• Fully mechanized Raw Material Handling System
• Railway siding to handle 9.20 million tons of material in the plant
• Power Plant of 22.50 MW with Power Distribution System
• Plant water intake of 1600 cubic meter per hour through a 17 km long pipe line of 800 mm diameter from the Brahmani River
• Water Treatment Plant
• Demineralization Plant of 150 cubic meter per hour capacity
• Adequate land of 237 hectares for 3.50 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant
